Cynthia Platero, Executive Coach for High-Achieving, Creative Women

Executive coaching for high-achieving, creative women who are ready to stop second-guessing themselves and create careers, businesses, and lives that reflect what matters most to them.

Cynthia Platero, executive coach.

I work with high-achieving, creative women who are capable, driven, and often accustomed to being the person others can count on.

You may have built a successful career, business, or life while quietly questioning your decisions, minimizing what you want, or waiting for someone else to confirm that you are ready.

My role is not to give you another set of expectations to follow. I create the space for you to hear yourself clearly, understand what is shaping your choices, and develop the self-trust to pursue what matters most to you.

Learn how private coaching can help you strengthen your self-trust, reconnect with your creativity, and move forward with greater clarity.

I help you stop looking outside yourself for answers and start trusting your own voice.

I understand what it means to be accomplished and still question yourself.

I know what it feels like to look outside yourself for reassurance, even when you already have the experience, insight, and ability to make your own decisions.

I also understand how easy it is for your identity to become wrapped in your work, your responsibilities, and your ability to deliver. You become known for what you accomplish and how much you can carry. Meanwhile, the curious, creative, honest part of you receives less and less room to speak.

That is why self-trust is at the center of my coaching.

Confidence can change depending on the situation. Self-trust goes deeper. It is knowing that you can listen to yourself, tell yourself the truth, make a decision, and support yourself through whatever comes next.

Self-doubt does not develop in isolation.

Culture, family expectations, workplace bias, leadership pressure, and the need to prove yourself can all make it harder to hear and trust your own voice. You may have learned to anticipate what others need, adapt to the room, exceed expectations, or wait until your abilities are recognized before pursuing what you want. Those patterns may have helped you succeed, but they can also make it difficult to separate your own desires from everything you have been taught to value. My coaching creates space to explore these complexities honestly and without judgment. You do not have to minimize your experiences, defend your ambition, or separate your identity from the decisions you are trying to make.

Our work brings you back to your own voice.

Together, we examine the patterns, expectations, and outside opinions influencing your choices. We make space for the thoughts you have been dismissing, the questions you keep circling, and the possibilities you have not given yourself permission to explore.

I help you recognize when you are second-guessing yourself, waiting for validation, or shaping your choices around what others expect.

From there, you can clarify what you genuinely want, strengthen trust in your own judgment, and begin making decisions that reflect who you are and what matters most to you.

I will not tell you what your life should look like. I will help you hear your own answer and trust yourself enough to act on it.

Creativity is part of how you return to yourself.

You do not have to be an artist or work in a traditionally creative field to be a creative woman.

Creativity is how you follow your curiosity, imagine possibilities, express what is true, solve problems, and shape something that did not exist before.

But when your energy is consumed by deadlines, responsibilities, and other people’s needs, your creativity can become buried beneath everything you carry.

Reconnecting with it can help you think more openly, understand what you need, process what you are experiencing, and imagine possibilities beyond your current circumstances.

Creativity is not another thing you have to accomplish. It is one of the ways you reconnect with who you are and create what comes next.

Honest coaching without judgment, pressure, or a prescribed path.

My approach is thoughtful, direct, creative, and grounded in the belief that you are capable of discovering your own answers.

I create a confidential space where you can stop performing, speak honestly, and say the things you may not feel comfortable saying anywhere else.

I listen closely, ask questions that help you go beneath the surface, and reflect the patterns I notice. I will challenge you when your words, choices, and stated desires are not aligned, but I will not prescribe a life or definition of success for you.

Your coaching experience is shaped around what you want to understand, change, or create. Together, we turn greater awareness into clearer decisions and meaningful action.

What becomes possible when you trust yourself

The goal is not to eliminate every doubt or always feel completely certain. It is to build a stronger relationship with yourself, so uncertainty no longer prevents you from moving forward.

Through coaching, you can begin to:

  • Understand what you truly want beyond other people’s expectations

  • Recognize when you are seeking reassurance instead of trusting your judgment

  • Make personal and professional decisions with greater clarity

  • Advocate for your ideas, needs, and ambitions

  • Reconnect with your creativity, curiosity, and self-expression

  • Pursue opportunities without waiting to be chosen or given permission

  • Take intentional action toward the career, business, or life you want to create

Confidence grows as you learn to hear yourself, trust what you know, and follow through on what matters to you.

Professional expertise grounded in real-world leadership

Cynthia Platero, executive coach for high-achieving creative women.

I am a certified executive coach, Core Leadership Dynamics Specialist, and Energy Leadership Index® Master Practitioner with more than a decade of experience across human resources, finance, leadership development, and nonprofit board leadership.

My professional experience has given me a close view of how people lead, make decisions, navigate workplace dynamics, respond to pressure, and define success. I understand the demands placed on high-achieving women and how easily professional expectations can influence personal identity, confidence, and choice.

I have also served in nonprofit board leadership, including as Board President of a professional arts training organization. These experiences inform my ability to coach women navigating leadership, career growth, entrepreneurship, creative ambitions, and significant transitions.

I bring that perspective into a coaching relationship that is strategic enough to support meaningful decisions and human enough to make room for everything those decisions carry.

Understanding what shapes your choices

I incorporate the Energy Leadership Index® assessment into coaching to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and reactions affect the way you make decisions, respond to stress, and move through challenges.

The assessment does not define who you are. It provides another lens for recognizing the patterns that support you and the patterns that may be limiting your choices.

This deeper awareness can help you respond more intentionally instead of automatically looking outside yourself for the answer.

Creativity is not just something I coach. It is something I practice.

Outside of coaching and my profession, I am an aerial dance artist who creates and performs original acts.

Aerial dance asks me to listen to my body, work through fear, trust my preparation, and make creative choices without knowing exactly how everything will come together.

It reminds me that creativity requires both imagination and discipline. It also reminds me that self-trust is not something we achieve once. It is something we practice every time we choose to follow our own voice.

That experience shapes how I coach. I believe creativity can help us process what we carry, discover new possibilities, and express parts of ourselves that achievement alone cannot reach.

We may work well together if...

You are a high-achieving, creative woman who:

  • Has built a successful career, business, or professional reputation

  • Knows something needs to change but is struggling to define what

  • Frequently second-guesses decisions you are capable of making

  • Looks to other people for reassurance, permission, or confirmation

  • Has an idea, ambition, or creative pursuit you keep postponing

  • Wants to reconnect with the person beneath your titles and responsibilities

  • Is ready to examine your patterns honestly and take responsibility for your choices

  • Is prepared to invest time, energy, and resources in creating meaningful change

You do not need to know exactly what you want before beginning. Discovering what you want may be part of the work.

You have spent enough time questioning what you already know.

You do not need to become more accomplished before you are allowed to want something different.

You need the space to hear yourself clearly, understand what matters to you now, and trust your own voice enough to move forward.

Through three months of private coaching, we will explore what you want to change or create, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, and strengthen the self-trust you need to take intentional action.

Schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss what you want to be different and whether private coaching is the right next step.

Stop second-guessing yourself. Trust your own voice. Create what matters to you.
